S. June Presnell Named 2009 VIP Cambridge Who's Who Member
S. June Presnell Honored for Excellence in Biblical Counseling
GREENWOOD, IN, July 23, 2010 /Books PR News/ -- S. June Presnell, Associate Director, Counselor and Co-Founder at Rod and Staff Ministries, has been recognized as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of religious education and biblical counseling.
The Co-Founder and Associate Director of Rod and Staff Ministries, it is the mission of S. June Presnell to share and spread the gospel of Jesus by training and equipping pastors, missionaries, church leaders and church members in the field of biblical counseling. Over the last 24 years, Ms. Presnell has worked as both a Bible teacher and as a guest speaker, advocating for dependence on Christ's word. She now approaches her 14th year with the Christian organization, driven to provide training and counseling based on biblical principles derived from the Bible, the Holy Spirit, prayer and other Bible-based written texts.
Through Rod and Staff Ministries, she has co-developed a five-level apprenticeship training program. The levels cover: the principles of biblical counseling, the process of biblical counseling, observation of biblical counseling, assistant biblical counseling and leadership in biblical counseling. Through this program, Rod and Staff aims to equip local church leaders to provide such services to their congregations. It does so in accordance with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC) Standard of Conduct and Code of Ethics.
Throughout her career, Ms. Presnell has been recognized in multiple publications for her expertise in spiritual counseling and biblical teaching. For such success, she credits her faith in God. Ms. Presnell will seek to grow within her profession as she moves forward, drawing upon her affiliation with The National Association of Nouthetic Counselors. She is also a member of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, South Side Indianapolis Symphony Organization and the IMA Alliance, and holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Trinity University.
